Terms of service

These terms govern the placement services provided by Bridgeway Exchange LLC.

Effective August 10, 2026 · Last updated August 10, 2026

Please read these terms before paying any fee. By submitting an application or paying a program fee, you confirm that you have read, understood and accepted them. If you do not accept them, do not submit an application.

1. Who we are

Bridgeway Exchange LLC ("Bridgeway", "we", "us") is a limited liability company organised under the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, formed on August 10, 2026.

Bridgeway Exchange LLC
400 E Snow King Ave, PO 3520
Jackson, WY 83001, United States
Registered office: 30 N Gould St Ste R, Sheridan, WY 82801
Email: info@bridgewayexchange.com

"You" and "the applicant" mean the individual who applies for placement assistance.

2. What we do and what we do not do

Bridgeway is a placement agency. We prepare and submit applications to sponsor organisations designated by the U.S. Department of State to administer the Exchange Visitor Program, and we assist applicants through the steps that follow.

We want to be explicit about the limits of our role:

Our obligation is to perform the services described in section 3 with reasonable care and skill. It is an obligation of effort, not of result.

3. Services

Subject to payment of the program fee, we provide:

Services not listed above are not included. Our program page sets out what the fee does and does not cover.

4. Your obligations

The application depends on information only you can provide. You agree to:

If you provide false or misleading information, or fail to meet these obligations, we may terminate our services without refund, and you remain responsible for any consequences.

5. Fees and payment

The program fee is set out in the written quotation and agreement we send you before any payment is due. All fees are quoted, charged and refunded in United States dollars.

Your application does not proceed past the stage identified in that agreement until payment is received in full and cleared.

The fee is the same regardless of payment method. Any charge applied by your own bank, card issuer or intermediary bank, including currency conversion applied on your side, is your responsibility and is not part of our fee.

Costs excluded from the fee — including the U.S. visa application fee, airfare, housing and living costs — are payable by you directly to the relevant party.

6. Cancellation and refunds

The refundable amount depends on how far your application has progressed at the time of cancellation, because our work and third-party costs are incurred in stages. The applicable amounts are set out in the written agreement you accept before paying. Nothing is refundable once you have arrived in the United States.

To cancel, send a written request to info@bridgewayexchange.com. The date we receive your written request determines which stage applies. We reply within 30 days.

Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method within 30 days. Where a refund is returned to a card, the amount credited is the amount charged; we cannot recover any conversion difference applied by your card issuer between the two dates.

We may terminate the agreement and refund the applicable amount if a sponsor declines your application for reasons outside your control, or if the program is cancelled or suspended by a sponsor or by the U.S. Department of State.

7. Chargebacks

If you believe a charge is incorrect, contact us first at info@bridgewayexchange.com. We will respond and, where a refund is due under section 6, issue it. Raising a chargeback with your card issuer instead of contacting us does not change the refund terms of your agreement, and we will respond to the issuer with this agreement and the record of services performed.

8. Changes outside our control

Program dates, sponsor requirements, employer arrangements, government fees and visa policy can change, and we do not control them. Where a change affects your placement we will tell you promptly and, where possible, offer an alternative. We are not liable for changes imposed by a sponsor, an employer, a government authority or an airline, or for events beyond our reasonable control, including natural events, strikes, public health measures and changes in law.

9. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to these terms is limited to the amount of the program fee you paid to us.

We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost earnings, lost travel costs, or loss arising from a visa refusal, an employer's conduct, or a sponsor's decision.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

10. Insurance and your own safety

Program insurance covers what is described in the policy issued to you and nothing more. Read it. It is not a substitute for travel insurance, and it does not cover personal property, travel disruption or activities outside the program.

11. Privacy

We process your personal data as described in our Privacy policy, which forms part of these terms.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version in force for you is the one published on the date you submit your application, and we will send you a copy on request. Material changes affecting an application already in progress will be communicated to you in writing.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to its conflict of law rules. The courts located in the State of Wyoming have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them, except where mandatory law in your country of residence gives you the right to bring proceedings elsewhere.

If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in force.
